Deep Breathing Exercise ( Nei-Yung Kung )
An exercise corresponding with abdominal breathing technique
- Position:
- Lay on a flat surface
- Bend both knees, or use a pillow to support knees to relieve the
- Gently cover the abdomen with palms
- Breathing exercise
- Exhale slowly until lower abdomen is shaped inward, count silently from
1 to 5.
- Inhale slowly until lower abdomen is shaped outward, Count silently from
1 to 5.
- Hold breath, count silently from 1 to 5.
- Repeat step 1 to step 3 for about 10 minutes
Deep Breathing Exercise is a very gentle exercise suitable for the seniors
and patients to practice
